Music Festival Returns to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, October 8-10

 

Three Day Columbus Day Weekend Event will showcase over 60 of DC’s finest eateries, top craft beer brewers and wine makers, live entertainment and more, for the entire family

Taste of DC, the region’s largest and most eagerly anticipated food, wine and entertainment event, will return to America’s “Main Street” in downtown Washington, DC, from October 8-10, 2011.  Presented by Groupon, this community event promises something for everyone, young or old, families and singles.  Taste makers from the food and beverage industries, as well as world-class entertainers, take over Pennsylvania Avenue, between 9th & 14th Streets, NW,  for a three-day celebration guaranteed to bring out the inner foodie in everyone.   

The Columbus Day holiday weekend event will showcase over 60 of DC’s quintessential restaurants, eateries and food trucks, which will comprise Restaurant Row, along with a Culinary Stage that offers the opportunity for attendees to get up close and personal with top chefs and winemakers.  And because no meal is complete without the perfect pairing, wine and craft beer pavilions will showcase wines from around the world as well as craft beers brewed down the street.  The stellar slate of activities includes top musical acts performing in the Groupon Experience, as well as an array of family friendly entertainment for all ages in the Family Zone.
