Before embarking on his 43-city tour, hip- hop artist Wale will surprise the students at Central High School in Capital Heights on Tuesday , Nov 1st at 1 p.m. to encourage students to excel in school.

On Wednesday, October 12, 2011, County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III will join other Prince George’s County elected and government officials to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Prince George’s County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro from 4pm-5pm. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Many Backgrounds, Many Stories…One American Spirit,” which was adopted from the Federal Government National Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

Sample Different World Cultures at the Bowie International Festival on October 1
