2 Dead in Prince George's County Accident

GLENN DALE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Two people have died after an accident in Prince George's County, on Monday morning, emergency officials said. 

It happened in the 10800 block of Lanham Severn Road in Glenn Dale. 

The identities of the victims who died are not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.

Two vehicles collided and two passengers in one of the vehicles ended up dying after being transported to the hospital, officials said. 

The drivers of the two cars were also injured in the crash, fire officials said. There is no word yet on the conditions of those two people.

Children Found Wandering Street; Va. Mother Arrested

MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Two children were found wandering in a neighborhood in Manassas on Friday morning, Prince William County Police said in a news release. 

The mother, Esmeralda Carolina Acosta Montoya, 28, of Manassas, was arrested about 45 minutes after police were notified that the kids were missing, police said. 

It happened at around 10:28 a.m., when a person called police, informing them that the caller had found the two children wandering, police said. 

"The caller located two children, a 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy, walking the area above unsupervised. The caller took the children to nearby Westgate Elementary School where police were notified. The investigation revealed that the accused had left the children in a locked room of the residence while she was gone for about for two hours," police said. 

Charged with two counts of felony child endangerment and she has been released on a $4,500 bond. 

Person Robbed And Injured For Shoes In PG County

FORESTVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- A person waiting at a bus stop in Forestville was injured when robbed for a pair of shoes, Prince George's County Police say. 

The attack took place on Wednesday at about 8:30 p.m. at the bus stop located near Pennsylvania Ave. and Donnel Dr., police said. 

The victim has non-life threatening injures but it is not clear how or with what the victim was assaulted. 

Police said the victim is not a student but did not provide an age.  

2nd Victim Dies In PG County Shooting

FORESTVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- A second victim of a Tuesday shooting in Forestville died on Wednesday, police said. 

Andre Walter Shuford, 18, of Forestville was pronounced dead on Wednesday after being listed in grave condition, police said. 

The shooting happened at 5:35 pm, on the 3700 block of Donnell Drive on Tuesday, police said. 

Two men were shot and killed in the incident, 18 year-old Aaron Burrell Kidd of the 3600 block of Melrose Avenue in District Heights, was the other victim in the shooting. He was a 9th-grader at Suitland High School, police said. 

"At this point, there is no indication that this crime is connected to the murder of Charles Walker, Jr.," police said.

Second Suitland High School Student Shot And Killed In 2 Days

FORESTVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) --  For the second straight morning, hearts are broken as students at Suitland High School mourn the loss of another classmate. Police identified the 15-year-old killed on Monday afternoon as Charles "CJ" Walker. The freshman was shot to death on 28th Avenue in Hillcrest Heights. Walker's classmates told us they believe he was killed over shoes that he planned to give to his girlfriend.

The latest shooting happened at about 5:35 p.m. at a parking lot located on the 3700 block of Donnell Drive near Pennsylvania Avenue in Forestville, Prince George's County Police said.  Two 18 year olds were shot, say police. Police say an 18-year-old, ninth grade student from Suitland High School died in the shooting. Another 18-year-old is in critical condition.
